Week 8 of the NFL season has come and gone. As always, Matt Drufke has questions and Jack Baker is not only the man smart enough to answer them, but the only person to put up with Matt’s bullshit.
However, there’s no mailbag this week. Matt and Jack are both in their separate bunkers preparing for the upcoming civil war that each assumes will happen in the next few days, so we decided that we’re gonna take this week off. We’ll be back next week with more hijinks.
Not that there weren’t questions. Matt is curious about just how good the Bears are (and that answer seems to change week to week), if the undefeated Steelers are the best team in the NFL, just what’s going on in Baltimore, and why Shakira’s “Try Everything” (from the criminally underrated Zootopia) slaps so. fucking. hard.
But, we’ll deal with all of those questions next week. Everyone stay safe. Wash your hands. Wear a mask. Vote if you haven’t.
We will dedicate this week’s mailbag to Bears wide receiver Javon Wims, who showed us that if you’re gonna jack someone in the face, at least get his attention first.
