After 5 weeks and 63 matches, March Fatness is complete!
What started as a contest determined to figure out what the best fast food item was ended with… well, a contest determined to figure out what the best fast food item was. But man, did things get intense.
Friends were pitted against friend. Husband against wife. Blizzard against McMuffin.
In the end, it came down to two items in the championship, Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich versus Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich. We posed the contest to you, the loyal reader, on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

The overall number one seed had only once close match. It dominated KFC Coleslaw in the first round, steamrolled Arby’s Beef & Cheddar, took care of Wendy’s Baconator, dunked on Chipotle’s Burrito Bowl, then narrowly got past Portillo’s Hot Dog. With it’s win today, it can hold the crown of being the champ.
