
Round one of March Fatness, our bracket-style competition of the most wonderful and unhealthy fast food items known to man is in the books. Let’s run through yesterday’s results and break down Round 2, which will take place next week.
Round 1 Updates!
Earlier this morning, Round 1 officially ended with the closing of the High Cholesterol Region. It was a good day for chalk. Here are those results:
(1) McDonald’s McChicken Sandwich easily took care of (16) Panera’s Modern Caprese Sandwich, 72%-28%.
(8) Culver’s Cheese Curds knocked out (9) Krispy Kreme’s Glazed Doughnut, 65%-35%.
(5) Wendy’s Frosty squeezed out a close win, beating Taco Bell’s Cheesy Gordita Crunch, 55%-45%.
(4) Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap Supreme outlasted (13) Burger King’s Bacon King, 65%-35%.
(3) Portillo’s Chocolate Cake shake beat (14) Burger King’s Texas Double Whopper, 78%-22%
(6) Wendy’s Baked Potato took down the (11) Checker’s Big Buford, 69%-31%.
(7) Jimmy John’s Gargantuan dispatched Taco Bell’s Beefy Fritos Burrito, 58%-42%.
(2) Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich dominated (15) Burger King’s Chicken Fries, 77%-23%.
So, where does that leave us?
